Our collection of props from the 1940s is growing steadily, but in pride of place is still the antique radio we used for the Send The Boats single cover and, later, in the video (though you have to be paying attention to spot it). So when we asked our designer to create "A SEBASTOPOL T-SHIRT WE WOULD ACTUALLY WANT TO WEAR!", it came as no surprise when he based his design on that same radio.
He only specified one colour -- "austere grey" -- and insisted we screenprint the shirts (rather than use digital printing) with two specially selected and subtly different coloured inks, on 100% cotton, using actual human beings in Wales.
Tuned to suit austerity girls from S to XL, though surely compatible with most other lifestyles, genders and sizes.
